At BHP UK we take ECU remapping & tuning very seriously, to us its more than a business, it’s our passion.

Unlike the competition we have in house map writers and you are welcome to discuss your tuning needs with them before we remap your cars engine ECU.  Our map writers  will tune the car to your requirements, whether that be for all out performance, more low down torque, better economy or the best compromise of all of these.

We strive for absolute customer satisfaction and as such we always remap the original file that was read from your car, other companies will brag about how many maps they have on their database, but we never recycle ECU maps and NEVER use generic ‘of the database’ maps.  All our maps are tuned using techniques we have learned and proved on our rolling road, which we have recently upgraded to a state of the art Dynojet 224XLC.  Our new dynamometer allows us to monitor exactly what the engine is doing, how much boost the turbo is developing, the intake air temperature, the air fuel ratio, oil temperature, coolant temperature and of course the power & torque that the engine is developing.   All of this data allows us to optimise the ECU remap.  We constantly monitor the effects of all the small changes we make to the ECU during remapping.  Our dyno has a built in weather station to monitor ambient conditions and the dyno software constantly compensates for climatic changes.  Our dyno also measures   transmission losses so unlike the competion and lesser ECU remapping companies we can’t exaggerate the power figures by overestimating transmission losses.

If you have fitted a bigger turbo, induction kit, cams, exhaust system or any other modification, you can only make the most of your modification by remapping your ECU to suit.  We specialise in writing one off maps for modified vehicles, please call us for more details.
